Meet the founder

Keerthana Krishna Billava

Founder, JK Verse · Bengaluru

Hi, I’m Keerthana Krishna Billava, the founder of JK Verse.

Why “JK”?

The “JK” in JK Verse stands for my parents, Jayashree and Krishna. Everything I’ve learned started with their support, so I named this platform after them. It’s my way of giving other students the same kind of backing.

I’m a full-stack developer from Bengaluru with a degree in Information Science and Engineering from AMC Engineering College (VTU).

I built JK Verse because learning today is scattered: students study in one place and practise in another, parents struggle to find tutors they can trust, and tutors have no simple way to reach students or get paid. JK Verse brings students, parents, tutors and schools together on one platform, with courses, quizzes, a tutoring marketplace and secure online payments.

I designed, built and launched JK Verse myself, and I keep improving it based on what students and families need.
